NEWBERRY — Mr. Robert Louis Henderson Sr., 69, affectionately known as “Joe Burton” of 2511 Sycamore Drive, Newberry, died Monday at his residence.
Born in Newberry County, he was the son of the late Evelyn Burton. He was a member of Trinity A.M.E. Church in Newberry.
Surviving are one son, Robert Louis Henderson Jr. of Phoenix, Ariz.; four grandchildren; two brothers, Wyman Burton and Larry Burton of Newberry; three sisters, Alma Sullivan (Dennis) and Lisa Faye Davis (Calvin) of Silverstreet and Robin Bates (Albert) of Newberry and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral service will be conducted at noon on Friday, Jan. 11, 2013, at Trinity A.M.E. Church.
Arrangements are under the direction of Wilson Funeral Home of Newberry.
