NEWBERRY — Just like the fight for cancer never ends; neither do the efforts for Relay for Life in Newberry County.
As the 2012 Relay for Life campaign is winding down the new one is starting.
On Nov. 8 there will be a wrap-up and kick off celebration for the events.
During the event teams will register for the upcoming campaign while honors will be given for the past year.
Each team who participated and those thinking about it are encouraged to have at least one person at the event.
Coordinator Robbiette Hazel adds that Relay for Life fund raisers are ongoing.
Hazel adds a donation to Relay for Life makes a great gift in honor or in memory of someone during the holidays.
Those wanting to go to the banquet need to RSVP to Hazel by calling 924-4933 by Nov. 5.
