NEWBERRY — Students who were selected by teachers for academic progress in the classroom and had perfect attendance for January were honored recently by the Newberry Adult Education program.
Director David Green said they are model students and citizens who are determined to succeed and they exemplify work ethics and behavior that other students should follow.
Children who were students of the month from classes at the child care center were also recognized. The child care center is administered by the Family Literacy Program and housed at the adult education facility. The child care center serves children of adults attending the adult education program.
