Fourth graders from Newberry Elementary School enjoyed their first walking field trip to the Newberry Opera House. Students were chaperoned by Principal Reggie Wicker, ESOL teacher, Carol Dukes, and fourth grade teachers, Jenna Noblin and Takeela Caughman. The students were invited to see the Royal Dancers and Drummers of Burundi. The students enjoyed being immersed into a different cultural experience. They look forward to writing letters to the Dufford Foundation about what they enjoyed from the performance.
