PROSPERITY — The Newberry County Sheriff’s Office is looking for an elderly gentleman who was last seen shortly before 5 p.m. entering the woods on Wheeler Avenue in Prosperity.
The man, Christopher Godbee, was wearing a blue jean jacket, a blue flannel shirt, jean, and white tennis shoes. He is 6 foot 2 inches tall, weighs 230 pounds, and wears gold rim glasses. He goes by the name “Chris.”
The man was a patient at South Side residential care. He suffers numerous medical conditions.
Please notify law enforcement if you see him.
