MCMS boys remain undefeated

BATESBURG-LEESVILLE — The Mid-Carolina Middle School boys basketball team is 3-0 and undefeated after a huge 41-25 win over Batesburg-Leesville Middle School on Monday.

Cade Ruff rallied for 15 points for the Rebels and added on seven steals, two assists, a blocked shot and had two rebounds.

The Rebel’s Zachary Hentz turned in 12 points, a blocked shot, and 10 rebounds.

Keenan Boland followed with eight points, three steals, an assist, and a rebound.

Iyon Thompson added two points, a blocked shot, a steal, and four rebounds.

R.J. Wadsworth also had two points, two steals and a rebound.

Jaterran Wise made a point, a steal, and had four rebounds.

Corey Stone scored a point, and had a steal, and two rebounds.

Drew Cromer had an assist and two rebounds and Jevon Boyd had a rebound.

The Mid-Carolina Middle School girls basketball team is now 1-2 for the year after losing Monday to Batesburg-Leesville Middle School in a close 25-20 game.

Cassi Ruff scored the most points for the Rebels with six. She also had three rebounds and three steals.

Alex Fulmer scored four points, had four rebounds and two steals.

Charlsy Traylor also scored four points, had three rebound, and a steal.

Chazity Counts had three points, a rebound and two steals.

Gracen Hester had three points, a rebound, and three steals.

Callie Blanchard added three rebounds and four steals.
