MC ladies fall to Chapin, beats Gilbert

PROSPERITY — The Mid-Carolina girls got a win but lost a game over the last week.

On Friday night Mid-Carolina fell to Chapin by a score of 53-43.

Julie Kinard led the Lady Rebels with 16 points, followed by Carli Ruff with 13. Other scorers for the Lady Rebels were Janezshia Boyd with one, Alix Green scored five points, Whitney McConnell had four and Chelsie Walling and Jalesa Ruff each had two points.

Mid-Carolina defeated Gilbert 49-30 Tuesday night to improve their record to 2-3 on the season.

Green led the Lady Rebels with 16 points followed by Kinard with 10.

Other scorers were Carli Ruff with seven, Jalesa Ruff with six,Wallingwith four and Ashton Mason, McConnell , Kelsey Bailey all scored two points.

The Lady Rebels host Union County on Friday night.
