Dot Bowers peruses one of the book tables at the Friends of the Library book sale on Saturday. The friends of the Newberry County Library had their annual book sale on Friday and Saturday with hardbacks, paperbacks and children’s books marked down to less than a couple of bucks. Bowers volunteers with the friends group. If anyone missed the book sale over the weekend there will be another sale in a couple of months so that the left over books will be sold. The friends also held a drawing for a quilt to be given away that was made by a quilting group.
