How do we demonstrate God’s love to others? Do we go out of our way to let others know that we care about them?

Kind words are gentle healers, but kind deeds are doses of the love of Christ. Jesus didn’t just say he loved us; he demonstrated his love by dying for us.

“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8

Some of the ways we can demonstrate God’s love. We can visit a lonely person, help a new neighbor feel welcomed, take time to listen to someone that is frustrated. We can write an encouraging note to let someone know that you are thinking of them.

Sharing God’s love in this manner, says I care, louder than any words could.

All it takes is a willing spirit to lift someone.

Sometimes we are so concerned about our own problems so much that we forget that others around us have needs as well.

Only good comes from doing good. Others will know that we are followers of Christ by the love we show others.

“By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.” John 13:35

“For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.” Ephesians 2:10

We are even created in Christ to do good works.
