Mr. and Mrs. Henry James Brooks of Pomaria announce with pleasure the engagement of their daughter, Mina Elizabeth “Betsy” Brooks, to Johnny Lewis “Louie” Alexander II, son of Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Lewis Alexander of Whitmire.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Newberry College and employed as a litigation paralegal at Pope and Hudgens, P.A., in Newberry.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Newberry College and he earned a Masters degree from The United States Sports Academy. He is employed by the School District of Newberry County as the athletic director, head football coach, and head baseball coach at Mid-Carolina High School in Prosperity.
A private wedding is planned for immediate family on Dec. 29, 2012, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Pomaria.
