Mr. and Mrs. Ned A. Brewer of Prosperity are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Samantha Diane Brewer to Daniel Patrick Curtis of Prosperity.
The groom-elect is the son of Mrs. Joanna S. Binford of Lexington, Ky. and Mr. Gerald D. Curtis of Prosperity. The bride’s maternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Hawkins of Prosperity. The bride’s paternal grandparents are Mrs. Mary C. Brewer of Newberry and the late Mr. Ned E. Brewer. The groom’s paternal grandparents are the late Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Curtis. The groom’s maternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Binford of Lexington, Ky.
The groom is a journeyman lineman employed at SCE&G in Columbia.
The bride is a graduate of the University of South Carolina with a bachelor’s degree in exercise science and a master’s degree in public health. She is employed at the University of South Carolina.
The wedding will be held at 5 p.m. on March 9, 2013, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Irmo. The reception is to follow at Pine Island Club House.
