Beta Club helps with missions

Whitmire Senior Beta Club members Bethany Cromer, Haleigh Babb and Amy Andrews work on some coloring books for the Costa Rica mission trip that some First Baptist of Whitmire members and a few Whitmire students participated in.

Whitmire High senior Brianna Lindler works on some coloring books for the Costa Rica mission trip. Lindler is a member of the Senior Beta Club who altogether made 650 coloring books with Spanish wording.

Pictured here ready to depart for a mission trip to Costa Rica on the morning of Dec. 13 are Whitmire Community students Madison Brock, Micah Dickerson, front, Brianna Swain, Max Stewert and Jacob Dickerson. While in Costa Rica, these students along with nine other people from Whitmire First Baptist will help 650 Nicaraguan orphaned refugees celebrate Christmas. The Whitmire High School senior beta club made 650 Christmas coloring books with Spanish wording for the mission team to add to the joy boxes for the orphans. Brock, Swain and Stewert are members of the Whitmire Senior Beta Club.
