Ford Model A cars lined the brick pathway between the old courthouse and the Opera House on Saturday. The cars belong to members int he Queen City Model A Club out of Charlotte, N.C.
The Queen City Model A Club from Charlotte, N.C. came to Newberry as one of their two spots for their fall tour. The club consists of Ford Model A car owners who ride in their car and show them off to passersby. All of the club members own their cars which they get from auctions or sales. While gas mileage is low, at around 15 miles per gallon, the owners enjoy the chance to show off cars that aren’t made like this anymore.
