The Emergency Relief Fund of the Newberry County Interfaith Community Service was organized almost 40 years ago. Thank you, the people who have made it possible to provide financial assistance to hundreds of people over the years. In 2015 $36,294.94 was used for utilities, housing and medicine to assist those in need. The current board members are Rev. Elaine Eskew, Rev. Elizabeth Morgan, Elizabeth Adams, Diane Lominick, Khristie Metts, John Glasgow, Rev. Jerry Trantham, Ken McBride and Rev. Art Hallman.
