November is Adopt-A-Senior-Pet Month and the Newberry County Humane Society would like to alert all those animal lovers seeking a great companion. Senior pets are so appreciative of their “adoption,” and much easier to train, if any training is needed. Most are house-trained or litter box trained and just enjoy “your” companionship and attention and especially love, to last their final years. When seeking your next “best friend,” please visit Newberry’s Animal Shelter (240 Public Works Drive, off Hwy 34, Newberry) and talk to and walk and pet some of the most precious animals you will ever find. Seniors might move a little slower or sleep a little more, but their Love is still there.
