Without God, life is such a mess that no one can straighten it out. God’s work is powerful. God can straighten that which is crooked. He can do all things. He can change lives because His work is powerful.
“Consider the work of God: for who can make that straight, which he hath made crooked?” Ecclesiastes 7:13
Sometimes God’s work does not make sense to us, but there is a purpose in it all. At times, we think God is only working in the lives of those who are prospering, but that is not so. God has a purpose in all things.
We make a mess when we try to handle things on our own, but we need to realize everything depends on God.
We need wisdom to make right decisions in life. Wisdom comes only to the person who trusts God for it.
“The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom” and the knowledge of the holy is understanding.” Proverbs 9:10
