We will soon be celebrating Thanksgiving Day. We need to ask ourselves are we as thankful as we should be, or do we take for granted the things we are blessed with.

I’m sure at times we take for granted God’s blessings for a good home, food to eat, clothes to wear and being able to worship freely. God is so good to us. Even though the material things seem so important to us all, how thankful we should be that God has blesses us with His Only Begotten Son, Jesus Christ.

“And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.” Colossians 3:15

As we gather with family and friends, let’s enjoy the time we have together, and give praise to God for His many blessings.

“Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.” Psalms 100:4

I would thank every one that reads this article, and let you know I appreciate the words of encouragement.

Happy Thanksgiving to you all.
