WHITMIRE — After losing over 40 games in a row, Whitmire Community High School’s football team beat the Calhoun Falls Charter School 42-0 in both teams first game of the season.
The Wolverines defense prevented the Blue Flashes from ever making it to the end zone.
New head football coach, Charlie Jenkins, will not let the team become complacent.
“The honeymoon will not last forever, but it is a good feeling,” said Jenkins. “We will be back to work on Monday, this way we can change to a winning team.”
