Bob Jones University

GREENVILLE — Emily Walker of Newberry joined other new students as Bob Jones University hosted its first session of summer orientation June 17-18.

Incoming students and their parents attended informational sessions about the BJU experience, had the opportunity to ask questions regarding academics, financial aid and student life and generally became familiar with the campus.

Additionally, students had the opportunity to connect with other new students, current students and faculty.

Walker will be majoring in Business Administration when classes begin August 31.

Clemson University

CLEMSON — Several local residents have been named to the Dean’s List and President’s List at Clemson University for the spring 2016 semester. To be named to the Dean’s List, a student achieved a grade-point average between 3.50 and 3.99 on a 4.0 scale. To be named to the President’s List, a student must achieve a 4.0 (all As) grade-point average.
