Coastal Carolina University

CONWAY – Four local residents were among those named to the Spring Semester 2016 Dean’s List for academic achievement at Coastal Carolina University.

To qualify for the Dean’s List, freshmen must earn a 3.25 grade point average, and upperclassmen must earn a 3.5 grade point average. To qualify for the President’s List, students must earn a 4.0 grade point average. All students must be enrolled full time.

Those who made the Dean’s list are Tionna Elkins and Shidedria Maybin of Newberry and Brooke Moen and Mikayla Prioleau of Chapin.

Francis Marion University

FLORENCE — Weston Gregory Lindamood of Prosperity was awarded a bachelor of science degree at Francis Marion University’s spring commencement.

Wofford College

SPARTANBURG — Four local residents were among the 325 students who were awarded degrees from Wofford College at the 162nd commencement exercises held May 15.

William Maurice Moseley of Newberry received a bachelor of science degree in psychology with a minor in religion; Daija Janai Graham Rogers of Newberry received a bachelor of arts degree in computer science with a minor in mathematics; Zachary Tyler Stevens of Newberry received a bachelor of arts degree in accounting; and William Edward Wolfe Jr. of Chapin received a bachelor of arts degree in government and a bachelor of science degree in chemistry with a concentration in world politics, summa cum laude.
