NEWBERRY – Newberry Elementary School faculty and staff took a Rocket Ride on Aug. 12 as part of staff development and training.

Faculty and staff, under the leadership of Principal Reggie Wicker, rode a school bus to see the routes NES students take to and from the Rocket each day and to also have a personal knowledge of where students live in the surrounding area.

Along the way, the NES faculty and staff visited with some students who were outside playing.
