Mt. Zion A.M.E. on Mt. Zion Church Road in Kinards hosts its annual revival on July 24. Afternoon service begins at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Johnnie Gallmon of New Home Baptist Church of Landover, Md. The second sermon is at 2:30 p.m. with Rev. Theodore Green and the Pleasant Grove A.M.E Church family.

Little Beaverdam Baptist Church hosts its annual revival July 24 through July 29. The Rev. Fred Smith will speak at 1:30 p.m. Sunday and the Rev. Stanley Price will speak at 2:30 p.m. Nightly service will be at 7 p.m.

Vacation Bible School

Aveleigh Church, 1211 Calhoun St. in Newberry, holds Vacation Bible School from from July 24 to July 28 for youths ages 3 to rising sixth-graders. The theme is Cave Quest. Bethel Missionary Baptist Church of Cross Hill holds Sunday school at 10 a.m. and worship service beginning at 11:15 a.m. each week.
