NEWBERRY — Newberry College head men’s basketball coach Dave Davis and head women’s basketball coach Sean Page have each announced the hiring of assistant coaches.

A familiar face rejoins the women’s basketball staff as Joanna Tincher comes back to Newberry after a season at Wofford. Tincher previously served Newberry as assistant coach for three years.

Jay Reid joins the men’s basketball staff after a season at USC Salkehatchie, where he served as associate head coach for one of the youngest coaching staffs in the nation at any collegiate level. He was also previously an assistant coach at Division II Davis & Elkins in West Virginia.
