Members of the John M. Kinard SCV#35 Camp had a Memorial Day remembrance ceremony at the Confederate Soldiers Monument on the square in downtown Newberry. The keynote address was given by Camp Commander Todd Rinehart. Afterwards the camp members read the names of the 491 men from Newberry that gave their lives in the War Between the States.
