• 4:30-6 p.m.: Mt. Pilgrim Lutheran Church in Prosperity sells chickens for $8 and Boston Butts for $8 a pound.

• 2 p.m.: Lever Chapel AME in Prosperity celebrates the anniversary of the Rev. Jose Lozano. The Rev. Eugene Rush Jr. is the speaker.

• Bethel Missionary Baptist Church of Cross Hill holds intercessory prayer and Bible study at 7 p.m. Tuesdays, mid-week services at 7:30 p.m. Wednesdays and worship service every Sunday beginning with Sunday school at 10 a.m. and worship service beginning at 11:15 a.m.
