NEWBERRY COUNTY — The Newberry County Sheriff’s Office is asking for assistance in locating a suspect for an armed robbery at Peak Pharmacy.

Just after 12 p.m. on Feb. 12, the suspect entered the Peak Pharmacy and robbed them using what appeared to be a pistol.

The suspect is described as a white male. He is approximately six feet tall and appeared to weigh about 180 pounds. He appeared to have reddish brown hair and be between 40 and 50 years old. He was wearing a light blue hoodie and dark colored pants.

The suspect fled the scene in a grey Ford Ranger. The vehicle left traveling toward Richland County on Church Street. It appeared that the suspect’s vehicle likely had a manual transmission from the information gained from witnesses.

The suspect had pulled his hood tightly to conceal his face but Sheriff Lee Foster hopes that someone may have seen his face following the robbery.

If you have any information about the suspect, please contact the Newberry County Sheriff’s Office at (803) 321-2222. A reward is being offered for the identification and arrest of the suspect.
