• Little Mountain Newberry OES holds a country fried steak dinner sale at Little Mountain Masonic Lodge from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Plates are $8.50, eat in or take out. • Pomaria-Garmany Elementary School, 7288 US 176, Pomaria, holds its annual “Auction for Academics. Proceeds from the auction will be used for improvements within the schools.
• Main Street Lights, official Christmas Lighting Ceremony, will take place from 6-8 p.m. in downtown Newberry. At 5 p.m. the Southern Victorian Society will begin caroling.

• Snowfall Nights is held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in Memorial Park in Downtown Newberry.
