CHAPIN — Despite coming in strong in the first half, the Mid-Carolina Rebels fell to the Chapin Eagles tonight 44-7.

Head Coach Louie Alexander said the team would be hydrating and conditioning more after the amount of cramps the team had during tonight’s game.

Although the Rebels had a pretty good first half, Alexander said they came out in the second half and fumbled the ball.

“Turning it over is something we cannot do,” Alexander said.

Overall, Alexander said the team did not run the ball very well and would be running people a lot more for next week’s game.

The Rebels play Saluda at home September 4 with a 7:30 p.m. kickoff.
