WHITMIRE — Emmanuel College in Franklin Springs, Ga., recently offered 2015 graduate Thelma Elizabeth Cathcart a $5,000 archery scholarship. Cathcart had already made plans to attend Emmanuel College this fall.

“We are always proud of the successes of our students. We are happy to see that Thelma is continuing to make us proud as an alumnus too,” said Joey Haney, principal of Whitmire Community School.

Cathcart plans to major in Christian ministries at Emmanuel.
