NEWBERRY — Members of the Newberry College Fraternity Kappa Alpha PSI experienced community involvement on Sept. 6 when they helped new Adult Ed Director Roberta Kinard and her staff prepare for the first day of school for Adult Ed.

The men moved furniture and helped get the entire Adult Ed building at 591 McSwain St. in order.

Adult Ed serves adult learners seeking a GED, diploma, career readiness certification (WorkKeys), ESL classes as well as academic enrichment.

Morning classes are held from 9 a.m. to noon Monday through Thursday and from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays.
