Newberry County Farm Bureau held its Queen and Talent contest on Aug. 20 at Newberry Middle School. Jordan Barnes, middle, was crowned Miss Newberry County Farm Bureau and was recognized as “Miss Congeniality.” Hannah Floyd, left, was first runner up and Jaci Koon was second runner up. Barnes is the daughter of Jason and Julie Barnes of Prosperity. She will receive a $500 scholarship next fall.
