Jordan Barnes was recognized as the female Ambassador during the Newberry County Farm Bureau annual meeting held Aug. 20. She will represent Newberry Count Farm Bureau at the South Carolina Farm Bureau Ambassador Competition in Myrtle Beach for a chance to win a $2,000 scholarship. She is the daughter of Jason and Julie Barnes of Prosperity and attends Mid-Carolina High School. She will be awarded a $500 scholarship next fall from Newberry County Farm Bureau.
