Elyssa Rae Parnell of Newberry and Daniel Byron Haven Jr. of Prosperity were married Saturday, March 19, 2016, at Stone River in Columbia. The 5:30 p.m. ceremony was officiated by the Rev. Adrienne Hamm Fink. A reception followed the ceremony, also at Stone River.

The bride is the daughter of William and Donna Parnell of Newberry. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Emory Lester of Newberry, William and Jean Parnell of Surfside Beach and the late Geraldine Parnell.

The bride is a graduate of Newberry College and is currently employed by the City of Newberry.

The groom is the son of Daniel and Marie Haven, both of Prosperity. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Byron Haven of Florida and the late Mr. and Mrs. Harry Drumm of Chapin.

The groom is a graduate of Lander University and is currently employed by the South Carolina Office of the State Auditor.

Miss Lindsay Moore served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Rebecca Stevenson, Miss Casey Stevens, Miss Alaina Brown and Miss Faith Carnes.

Mr. Greg Desroches served as the best man. Groomsmen were Mr. Joseph McGee, Mr. Jared Parnell, Mr. Levi Joiner and Mr. John Allen Meetze.

The wedding director was Mrs. Stephanie Long of Springfield, Ga. Program attendants were Mr. Will Stewart and Miss Megan Clark.

Following their honeymoon in Asheville, N.C., the couple resides in Prosperity.
