When our children were born, we loved them and cared for them each day. We would feed them, hold them, and rock them to sleep.
As they began to grow we encouraged them to learn how to walk, and how to do other things. We watched with excitement as they began to grow.
When we were born again our heavenly Father is involved in our growth.
He encourages us to learn his commandments and to obey them. He does not push us.
He never puts more on us than we can handle. His love and grace is there as we begin to grow spiritually.
When we fall he picks us up and lets us know that he is always there for us.
God has a plan for each of us. We need to be willing to accept that plan.
“But now, O Lord, thou art our Father; we are the clay, and thou our potter; and we all are the work of thy hand.” Isaiah 64:8
As we begin to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ we will face many trials and temptations.
“My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations. Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.” James 1:2-4
We have a natural birth and when we accept Jesus we have a spiritual birth.
